Q Theatre’s Stage Door online workshops return in 2021 with a specialised workshop for HSC Drama students.
Speak the Speech gives senior High School Drama students on the way to the HSC the opportunity to learn skills from professional performer and teaching artist, Rowan Bate.
This drop-in workshop is designed to support learning outcomes for aspiring performing artists keen to master monologue performance skills for their studies and to deepen their theatre craft. It will help students:
- Develop monologue preparation and performance skills;
- Link it directly to a monologue of their choice; and
- Connect with theatre practitioners and fellow young artists.

This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. A link will be sent to participants following booking.
Participants aren’t required to download any software but will need to have access to a computer, stable internet connection and a room where they can move around and make some sound.
