Access Ensemble:
For Ages 18+ Living with Disability
Semester 2, 2023
Access acting, music and movement exercises designed to stimulate the creative imagination and develop skills in personal and creative self expression. Designed to cater for people with mild to moderate physical and/or intellectual disability, these workshops are a fantastic weekly creative outlet, which allow participants to work towards a performance outcome.
We are proud to offer two programs as part of our Access Ensemble. Choose from:
- Young Adults Ensemble for emerging artists aged 18 – 26; or
- Adults Ensemble for artists aged 26+.
Support workers are welcome to sit in on all workshops.
Semester 2 concludes with Studio Q’s Annual Showcase event on Saturday 25 November, in which the participants in each course present an original performance in front of an audience on the Q Theatre stage. Tickets for this event will be sold through The Joan’s Box Office. Stay tuned – more information will be available closer to the date.
We accept NDIS Funds for our Studio Q Access Ensemble courses. We also offer discounts for students who enrol and pay for the entire Semester upfront and sibling discounts for each additional sibling enrolled in any Studio Q course.
